I drew my 80th comic page yesterday! Hooray for me! It's a really pretty one too. It's got lots of fir needles in it that I inked while we were playing Starcraft the board game. It took a long time because we had five players, and a girlfriend and a fiance who showed up to distract two of the players. I played the Aldaris Protoss, and I would have won if I had survived two more turns, but everyone ganged up on me and I was eliminated first, which sort of made me happy because I was done inking the page and I wanted to scan and color it.
Page 80 was the last consecutive one I had a script for. Now I have to write a bunch more things. I know generally what happens, but not how to make it the most entertaining. I also have to do quite a few new character sketches. Some of the visuals in this next section are going to be pretty strange. It's going to be fun. I think it's also going to be the last section of Chapter Two, so Chapter Three should start sometime before the 1-year anniversary of the comic next February. That batch of funny scripts I've been saving keeps getting pushed farther and farther back, to make room for my going the long and interesting way around to all my pre-established plot elements. It's encouraging to have them there, though, to look forward to.
OK, I have to go, it's bedtime. I've been snoozing all day, apparently I need more sleep.
