Extra rant, how weird is that! So, I just wanted to point out the changes in the site design. I particularly like the new vote buttons. There's also a link to the CG RSS feed that comes with my site, in case anyone's interested. Personally I wouldn't know what to do with it. This must be the first sign of me becoming out of touch with today's technology. Apparently everyone uses these things.

I ordered an initial copy of the first chapter in print. It's going to be more expensive than I first thought; for one thing I'm using a slightly larger page size. My pages are too short for the "comic book" size so I went with U.S. Trade for a little bit of extra width. The pages are still too short but I didn't want to go with the full letter size, that would have cost even more.

For the larger collections, in future, I'm going to use the Quarto size, but it requires more pages than I have for this first printing, which is more or less for fun, just to see it all printed out myself. In Quarto size there will actually be a little extra width, and I'll let that fall towards the binding. That will actually be useful since I'll be using a tighter binding for the collection (the first chapter is just stapled).

My current estimate of the price for ordering Chapter 1 is about $14. I don't expect many people to buy it; like I said, it's just for fun.

I'm getting stuff for the book done - there are a couple of pages with elements left out or changed, because in the beginning I wasn't as careful about file-saving practices, but I think it's going to be cool anyway. It might be available by the time the chapter ends.

LleuGarnock is in the top 150 fantasy comics on Buzzcomix! This is exciting. I bet we can get it into the top 100 fantasy by the end of the summer. At TWC there is less excitement - I am comparably ranked overall, but TWC seems to have a larger proportion of fantasy comics.

I have to go, I stayed up late hanging out with Tammy and playing the classic game, "Let's confuse Tammy's boyfriend!" We really don't try to do it, but it happens anyway, and it is hilarious.
