I haven't been writing my next comics, but I've been doing other very useful things. I started getting the comics ready for printing in the first chapter. Early on I was very bad at saving at the right points and there are at least two pages that I'll have to remake basically from the beginning. Thankfully most of them are easier than that. The plan is, by the time Chapter One ends you'll be able to buy it in paper comic book form. I don't know if that'll happen, though, because I want to test-print a copy and look at it before I make it available to the public.

I have also been spring-cleaning, for real this time; the real kind involves sorting and filing all my doodles and notes, cleaning out the closet and throwing away half its contents, and buying lots of plastic storage containers. This was essential, because I can only keep things clean on a daily basis when there's some floor showing in the closet to throw everything on. But last time I never got that far. So having a clean closet makes me very happy.

I know I said I was going to get a wallpaper done, but in the middle of the project I realized I had to reevaluate my technique and consider the functionality of the desktop. I'm still doing that and trying to think of the best way for LleuGarnock imagery to fit into a good wallpaper. It's not as easy as I thought it would be. I've got a couple of ideas, though; I just have to let them stew.

I bid on an exciting item on ebay, but I'm not going to say what it is here because I'm paranoid about snipers.

The writing is going slowly in this flashback, for many reasons. One is that I'm touching on some subjects that I've never written about before and I'm not sure how I want to handle them. I'm thinking of cheating by creating a difference between elves and humans which makes the whole business nicer. (Now you're either very curious or you know exactly what I'm talking about. Not so good.)
