So, another night on which the rant is late because I stayed up working on the comic. Not such a bad thing. I got so much done today! Not all of it was on the comic, unfortunately for y'all, but I'm happy about it. I started a big spring cleaning cycle, the first step of which was to sort, alphabetize and store my husband's Magic cards. On an average Friday (when I clean the house at least somewhat) I refuse to touch the MTG cards. If they're on the table I'll bug James to take them off. Otherwise I pretend they're not there and clean around them. But yesterday their slow takeover of the dining room got to me and I had to do something. Now they're all squared away in Amazon boxes behind the couch.

I believe that this beginning will lead to a complete overhaul of the apartment which will greatly increase my sanity and ability to draw comics. The burst of activity tonight, in which I finished inking one comic and almost finished another that hadn't even been scripted, is proof that during this overhaul the comic will not suffer, but indeed flourish.

Today's comic is, I believe, entertaining without being more than mildly funny. This describes a number of future comics, but there will definitely be more to laugh out loud at. There are a few great scripts that I have had ready, and I thought they would be in line for upload by now, but I kind of hit my plot with a large hammer and had to put it back together differently. My best guess for when my sister Mel's favorite comic will go up is sometime in October or November. She is my main idea-bounce person. Yay for fans! Especially the ones related to you who have to say they like it. (Just kidding.)
