So now we get into the real story. I'm in a serious bit like this now and it is actually being work. When I started this comic I never expected to have to work at it. (this is mostly untrue.) However, this story which I love has a beginning, middle and end, and I am determined to reach that end.The fact that I am actually working at it rather than setting it aside for a while (as I could) is encouraging. I do put down projects and come back to them later, but I really am committed to staying with this story and drawing it on a regular basis while I can do so and remain sane.
I'm genuinely surprised to say that even with the new schedule, my buffer is growing. Slowly, but - um - probably surely. This makes me very happy as it will allow me to either A) take a sanity break when I really need it or B) eventually increase my schedule once more. That would be great. I know something that attracts me to webcomics is frequent updating. It enables me to stay excited about the comic and follow the story more easily. But even more important than that is regular updating, so until my buffer grows ridiculously large, I'll stick with two a week.
